Hey everyone! I am so excited to introduce this month's Friday posts: November Spice! Since pumpkins are such a huge part of the holiday season, especially right after Halloween and before Thanksgiving, every Friday I will be posting a pumpkin themed recipe to get in the spirit of the holidays. And with Starbuck's Pumpkin Spiced Latte being such a huge thing, I decided to try and save a few bucks on the drink, skip the line, and start off the month by making my own Pumpkin Spiced Latte Creamer. For my tips and tricks on this recipe, just keep reading.
Ingredients:
1 cup light coconut milk
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp pumpkin filling
1/2 cup of brown sugar or 2 tbsp of maple syrup
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
pinch of salt
1) Throw in to a bowl and blend or stir with a fork:
2) Add brown sugar or syrup and stir, shake, or blend (I used brown sugar for a sweeter taste):
3) Combine liquids with powders and stir, shake, or blend well (preferably blend because of the size of the flakes):
4) Pour in to your cup of coffee or espresso and enjoy!
