ABOUT ME
Hey there lovely!
Hi everyone! My name is Taylor and I am a recent graduate from Texas Christian University (GO FROGS!). I graduated with a degree in Marketing and minors in Studio Art, and Film and Media Studies (with an emphasis in Production). But ever since I was young, I’ve loved writing. Creative writing to be specific. Ironically, I’ve never been the best when it comes to school assignments though. But I remember in 5th grade, I went through a period where I would write short story after short story about anything and everything from the scientific journey of water to a talking snake. This was the spark of my love affair, but, like every passion, it ebbs and flows.

It wasn’t until 7th grade that I picked up my passion again when I decided I was going to be the youngest published author ever (little did I know, someone already beat me to it). I wrote about 120 pages of a book and then the tides shifted and I started dancing instead. I danced all throughout junior high and high school, both competitively and recreationally, and even with my high school on the song team.

However, the next time I visited writing was in high school when I had another book idea. I wrote the first few chapters and got discouraged, as most high school teens are easily discouraged. Then in college, I started this blog. I just wanted a place to talk about the little things in life that I noticed and kept me entertained. This fell off once school came back around my sophomore year. Then, my junior year when I studied abroad my in Paris, I picked up my high school book idea again. Every Wednesday I would find a new coffee shop and work on my book and characters for about two hours. It was the perfect creative atmosphere and one of my favorite parts of the week. From there, my passion died down as I went in to my senior years (yes I had more than one senior year).

And here I am now. A recent grad with time on my hands and a passion for writing and stories. I’m excited to see where this takes me and I’m hoping that my passion doesn’t follow its two to four year cycle and stays a little longer this time. Let’s journey together.
